Negative test at almost 5 weeks, no bleeding

Hi,

Looking for some advice really.

I tested positive on Monday one day after missed period, solid line on a FRER and pregnant on clear blue digi.

I'm currently 4+6 and had a horrible dream last night that I'd miscarried. It was playing on my mind this morning so for some reason I did another pregnancy test which had a line so faint on it I could barely see it and now my mind is in overdrive. It wasn't FMU but I didn't think that would matter at this stage.

I still very much feel pregnant, utterly exhausted and all the usual systems but now I'm worried it could be a missed miscarriage.

Any advice on what you would do? Guessing the EPU won't do anything as too early to scan but can I ask GP for blood tests to check HCG levels? Or is this usually done by EPU as well?

Any advice or similar experiences appreciated.

What test did you use today? Same as original or different?

Another FRER, same brand as the original.

I'm going to go out and buy another clear blue digital this afternoon I think but I feel like it won't give me any peace of mind now.

I heard frer have been discontinued- not sure why. Defo try another brand x good luck

I'm so sorry. This happened to me last month, I was always getting faints and couldn't get a frer because the have been discontinued because of indents.

I was a serial tester and got a pregnant reading twice on CB digi.,, I did a test last at night and jr was negative, the CB also said not pregnant. I told myself it was cos it was late but I knew i should be getting a positive. Tested the next day and got a positive digi and faint CB... started bleeding the next day and that unfortunately turned into a period.
I didn't bother going to to the drs or EPU as I was 5 weeks and didn't think they'd do anything. I tested a few days later and it was negative. I really hate the phrase chemical pregnancy because it sounds so insignificant.

I have dreamt about blood before each of my miscarriages. Earlier on the week I dreamt I was bleeding. Two nights later I woke up to loads of blood and was convinced it was a mc. I was 5+1 and I went to EPU that morning and took a small bit of what I thought was tissue for them to test (I've had mcs before). What I took was a tiny clot so not embryo. Anyway they scanned me and could see yolk sac but also saw I have a subchorionic hematoma which is what causes the bleeding. I go back in 2 weeks.
My tests where still very strong positive and I do have symptoms, generally a bit groggy and sore boobs and I feel very queasy the past few days.
If you have concerns you can contact EPU they can't see heartbeat so early but they can see yolk sac and or cause if bleeding.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. On Monday this week I tested with a CB digi expecting a 3+ as I was 5 weeks, but instead had 1-2 weeks. I spoke to my GP within a couple hours and they ordered for hcg blood test, which did unfortunately confirm the levels were too low for my gestation, and they referred me to EPAU the next day. I started bleeding on Thursday so I have unfortunately miscarried. I'm sorry if this has worried you, but I just wanted to say you should and can speak to your GP to request a blood test to check your hcg levels and they can refer you to EPAU if needed.

I really hope your situation is different to what I had and everything turns out to be ok.
