So I’m 23 weeks pregnant with third baby, never had this in pregnancies before, but this is actually my 6th pregnancy and I’m a bit heavier than I once was which I assume doesn’t help 🤣
At the very top of my left thigh and the start of my bikini line - so not on my actual vulva, which I’ve heard about happening in pregnancy - more like front of pubic bone / groin area - it’s swollen, sometimes feels a bit hard and achey. It’s been like this for about 2-3 weeks. I showed midwife at my last appointment and she said I have a distended vein - I can sometimes feel the vein has popped out at the top of my thigh. Assuming this is like a varicose vein?
has anyone else had this - also with the swollen / hard / achey feeling? Should I go to the GP? The midwife said there’s nothing you can do and that I try and get my legs up in the evenings. Will it go away after pregnancy?
I know I have a cyst on my left ovary and I was starting to worry it was something to do with that getting bigger… midwife didn’t suggest this though.
