Clearblue not going to 3+

Hello,

I’m looking for some reassurance. I am pregnant, estimating around 6 weeks. I did bloods and they were fine, doubling as they should. However I tested again today as I still had some tests left and clearblue is still on 2-3 weeks. Given the blood results, 3 days ago, I should now be getting the 3+.

could clear blue be wrong/off?

I am getting a very strong dye stealer on a pink dye test (pic attached) and have no sign that anything is wrong.

Clear blue weeks indicator is not always totally accurate. Definitely stop testing as everything is looking good xx

Don’t go by the CB weeks. Some people never get a 3+ on them.

To update you all, I had an early scan due to some spotting. Baby is there with a heartbeat, measuring at 6+6 😊thank you all for the reassurance last week, I appreciated it.

For anyone reading this I did an hcg which came back as 8,900 so far above the threshold for 3+ yet the test read 2-3. So try not to worry if it doesn't match your gestational dates!

Also only getting 2-3 and I'm now 5 weeks 4 days. So hard not to worry:(

@bananabread23 I just missed the 3+
If you do a cheapie is it a strong line? That's all that matters. I did an hcg blood test and it came back as way over the 3+ threshold so sometimes they just don't work well

I ended up getting a 3+ but quite late, and eventually unfortunately had a miscarriage. But I got pregnant again on the first cycle after my first period following the miscarriage and had a healthy beautiful baby who is now 10 months old. Good luck to everyone ❤️

How did you guys get blood tests by the way, i recently had a chemical and wished I could have got blood hcg tested to avoid the uncertainty of urine tests

I paid on Harley Street it was about £150 per test and I did two. The GP wouldn't offer them I don't think. In the States it's protocol with private healthcare. It's expensive but it was worth it for me (though having had a molar pregnancy last year I then worried my hcg was too high, so you can't win). Good luck with your journey xx
