Or is this not possible? I’ve heard people say it can and others saying it’s impossible for it to induce labour and that it only gets baby into position. What do you think & in your experience? Baby is already quite engaged, I’m full term so I want to know am I bouncing on this ball for nothing.

It's not for nothing, but it won't induce labour if your body and baby aren't ready.

But yes it can get baby in to a good position, which could start labour off if everything else has come together beforehand.

Hope that makes sense!

Also gives great relief to lower body. I used the ball so much during first pregnancy over using the couch too.Helps during labour too.

It can get baby in a good position which in turn creates pressure on the cervix which can cause it to begin dilation. Bouncing on it won’t suddenly start contractions but it can be very helpful in getting your body ready for labour and help ease aches.
