Threadworms and pregnant

I have threadworms and I’m 12 weeks pregnant. I know it says on over packet not to take when pregnant but has anyone ever took the tablet while pregnant and they were ok?

Yes I had consultant care and they said it was absolutely fine to take the tablets after 12 weeks so I did.

I had them with my first and took the pills - he was / is totally fine.
I think it’s like most medicines and pregnancy they just haven’t been tested so they can’t say they are safe but it will be absolutely fine.

Ok thank you for getting back to me… I think I going to take it now and will be having a scan on Monday so fingers crossed.

Did you end up taking it ?

I took when pregnant around 30 weeks despite drs advising not to. I couldn't bear it it was awful. No problems whatsoever. Just a case I think of not tested on pregnant women so we don't know if it's safe or not

I’m only 12/13 weeks so not sure if it’s too soon to take anything. I’ve only seen 3 on myself on separate occasions and been cleaning like crazy. So much so that my hands are red raw and bleeding. I’m using Vaseline on my butt. No sure if that’ll help but read somewhere it stops the eggs. Just want it gone my mental health is suffering bad
