39 weeks stop start contractions

I'm 39 weeks today, had a lot of Braxton Hicks the last month or so of my pregnancy, but this week keep having false alarms! What feels like regular contractions starting in the afternoon up until I go to bed then gone when I wake up, each day they get closer together up to 7 minutes apart yesterday. Not painful yet but quite strong. I've been staying active, walking, on the ball etc but nothing seems to be kicking them in to gear.

Getting so frustrated with spending half my day in a lot of discomfort as well as constantly on edge, and I'm worried about ending up with a quicker labour (getting family over in time for childcare) as I feel like I could think a good chunk of the build up is just this happening again.
Has anyone had this before? I never had any Braxton Hicks with my previous pregnancies so it was really obvious when I went into labour

I had Braxton Hicks from out 36 week into my 3rd pregnancy, I was induced at 39 weeks and it took 4 days of slow labour and being on a drip for the last 14 hrs to actually give birth. I wish it had been a quick labour. I didn't have Braxton Hicks with any of the other 4 pregnancies and those labours where quicker.
