antenatal classes for c-section?

First-time mum here with a c-section scheduled for December. Are there any antenatal classes that are geared more towards mums having c-section? At the moment, my two options are NCT and Bump & Baby classes. Any idea which one would be more helpful?

I did bump and baby then had a C-section (planned, although I didn’t know that when I booked B&B).

It was really worth it - lots on baby care and first aid, as well as Labour. And a useful run though c sections too, including recovery.

From speaking to other mums NCT is really varied in how it covers Sections - one friend in particular had a leader who was really sneery to her after she ‘failed’ to Labour naturally. I’d want to check that out before I booked.

I did NCT - basically to buy myself friends who would support me through the difficult first few weeks/months - and it worked fantastically for me! Best £200 I ever spent Grin. I just ignored the birth bits - there was loads of other useful content and they also covered c-sections pretty well (as over 20% of women will end up having them), meant I wasn't shocked by the massive number of people in the operating theatre! Hope all goes well - I had two elective c-sections and they went very smoothly.
