Hi.
we have been referred to the pre term prevention clinic at our local hospital due to me having a bicornuate uterus.
has anyone else been seen in this clinic with their pregnancy and what should I expect please? I’m under the impression we remain under their care until baby arrives (hopefully on time)

any advice or experiences would be so much appreciated x

Hey, I have similar but my wombs are completely desperate with 2 cervix. Second child. First baby was in the right womb but this time baby is in the left and I had surgery on the left cervix as a young teen. I have also been referred to the preterm labour clinic this time. What was your experience? Did you go full term xx

Hi! We only needed a couple of appointments in the clinic mostly it was just to check cervical length, no issues so was discharged back to consultant led care. I assume if any issues would have kept under monitoring or needed sutures in cervix if any probs. We ended up having planned section as baby was breech and due to uterus shape not recommended to try and turn her, booked in and delivered right on 40 weeks. All went well and baby girl currently 13 weeks old! Hope all goes well for you too! Xx

@Skyplatypus I have my first appointment with them next week. Did you get to see the baby when your cervix was scanned?
