Positive pregnancy test with mirena coil in place

Trying, and failing, not to freak out. I had a mirena coil fitted in the delivery suite right after I had my 3rd baby, that was 8 months ago. I had read all the leaflets and saw that some people will eventually stop having a bleed during their cycle so when this happened last month I thought 'happy days' but for some reason today, which is when my period would have been due again, I thought I'd buy a pregnancy test and fully expected it to be negative. 3 tests later and all positive but it's 8pm so I can't ring doctor.

Clutching at straws but has anyone had false positives in this situation?
I've also since read its dangerous to be pregnant with a coil fitted and i have had a previous pregnancy end in miscarriage.
I don't even know what I'm asking. Is this real, should I worry, can I ring doctor in morning or call out of hours?
any guidance appreciated. if it's relevant my dates would put me at 7weeks +5 and zero pre natal care

This hasn't happened to me but didn't want to read and run. Can totally understand why you're stressed.

My understanding is that, yes, it's possible to be pregnant. I would ring the GP in the morning. I don't think it's an out of hours thing. I think they will scan you sooner to check location of the coil.

You need it removed ASAP! Definitely ring gp tomorrow x

I got pregnant with the Mirena coil, but my coil fell out on its own at about 6/7 weeks so i assumed it had become dislodged and that’s why. I went onto have a dd who is now 9 x

You need to get this coil out ASAP
I'd even be inclined to ring 111 to see if they want you to go in.
The pregnancy location needs to be checked as falling pregnant on the coil runs a high risk of ectopic.
Must be a massive shock and I hope you're OK and get this all sorted. Sor the coil first and then process how you feel and however you do feel is perfectly fine xx
