iCandy core?

Anyone have this pushchair?
Peach 7 was on my list but I found it heavy and geared up towards having more children which I’m not.
The ability to change from rural to urban wheels would be great for us and might mean we wouldn’t need to buy a stroller in the future for days out.
I need to go try it out but as it’s quite new there’s not many user reviews on it..

I would also love to hear any opinions on the Core. It's beautiful in store and seems practical, but hasn't been around very long so not many reviews that include longevity and use over a year. I'm between it and the Bugaboo fox so any info would be much appreciated :)

On the tagged section on Instagram I’ve seen a few influencers say it’s great but then be pictured with a different pram a few months later! It annoys me as for me its a huge purchase.. Would be great to hear what people who have actually used it for a while think wouldn’t it.
I did just came across a few negative John Lewis reviews unfortunately, on the black bundle you’ll see them..

Also interested, we’re looking at Icandy core, bugaboo fox 5, Nuna mixx next or mamas and papas ocarro

I don't have advice on that particular pram but I was looking for something in that league, had my heart set on the bugaboo fox but when I went in store to try pram I absolutely fell in love with the venicci tinum upline. It's unbelievably easy to to collapse down and put up with 'memory buttons'. Great suspension and tyres made not to puncture (we aim to be using it 'off road' a lot as we live quite rurally. Handlebar moves up and down with one button which is great for me and DP as he's much taller. Very smooth 'drive'. Car seat fits on pram, carrycot can be used for overnight sleep which is great if you plan on staying away. The other older child seat (sorry I'm not good with the lingo) can be put in a recliner position and also used from birth. Beautiful thick mattress, lots of ventilation points in the carrycot that you can cover/uncover when needed. Footmuff is beautifully soft inside. We got the bundle with the cybex i size car seat rather than the venicci car seat as we wanted to 360 base and it's a fabulous car seat with 3 reclining positions (2 of which can be used when driving to enable longer journey times). It has a big sun shade/hood that comes right over the car seat as well which eliminates the neat for window shades in the car. This car seat still attaches to the pram as well.

It's super versatile and really easy to use which is why I like it! We got the 'Leo' addition which is super classy looking we love it 😍

I would absolutely recommend going in a big pram shop tho to try out as we absolutely had our heart set the the bugaboo fox - I was adamant it was the pram I wanted but that all changed when I tried them out in store! Even little things like size/thickness of handlebar for your hands etc really makes a difference.

Thanks for this, it’s good to know you love it as strangely enough that’s the exact travel system I had my eye on! In the Leo edition or the all black. The bundles are really good value I think. I have actually been in store and tried about 5 out that I’d already researched. I narrowed it down to the Venicci and the Cybex priam.. I didn’t see the Core until a few days a go and it threw me as the ability to change wheels seemed handy as we also need it for off road dog walks and then going for days out/shops. I have a 13 year old stepdaughter who loves shopping centres at the moment ha so big wheels may be a bit overkill for times like that. However I have since seen a few bad reviews on the Core on John Lewis. Would be great to have some reviews of longer term use as it’s so expensive if we don’t get on with it :/
I know function is more important but I don’t like the look of the bugaboo for some reason so that wasn’t on my list although I’ve seen good reviews!

I’ve had an iCandy core since December. If I’m honest I wouldn’t get one again. It’s been back to the manufacturer as the front wheel kept locking and now the brake is temperamental. The peach seems better quality but if I was buying now I’d go for the bugaboo dragonfly which wasn’t released when I had my baby.

Oh so you’ve had a decent amount of use of it then - that’s good to know! The few reviews on John Lewis have put me off also. The peach seemed lovely quality but wasn’t right for me. Think I’ll go back to my original options as it’s too much money to spend to not like it and sounds a nightmare having to send it back!

I'm back to the drawing board now too.. really put off by the bad reviews on JL. I'm probably going to go with the bugaboo fox but will look again at the iCandy peach and maybe the new cybex balios. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
