Hi all.
I asked for a Elected c section at 39 weeks but because it has a 97centile baby (No GD) they said 38/39 on paperwork and they booked me at 38+5

But I was told it would be more like 39 weeks and was surprised they sent a earlier date

I know 38 weekers more likely to have breathing issues and I wanted baby to be fully ready before birth.

Shall I push to change? I asked the antenatal clinic who booked and they said the extra 3 days wouldn't make a difference but my gut is telling me to ask consultant but not seeing him for a few weeks now.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks x

you have taken the medical decision yourself to go for a c section

but I do think now is the time to go with the medical professionals

@Weflewinstyle

I did decide I wanted the c section.
They decided the date. But it's a bit earlier then I expected.

I’d trust them personally

I think you're being silly. You asked for a c section, they've given you a date. In the grand scheme of things 3 days is insignificant and a due date is estimated at best.
