Pregnancy Test

Hi everyone, I’m turning into a woman possessed (with pregnancy tests!!)…

We found out we were expecting again last week after 2 MMC’s and are currently 5wks + 2 days. I'm incredibly scared and just want this to be our rainbow so badly!

Can someone please reassure me or tell me honestly, does this test seem “normal” for that duration of pregnancy? I can’t help but think it’s a faint line and not as strong as it should be compared to the other 2 lines… which in turn places me in the “here we go again” mode.

In our last loss, my tests never got strong lines so I can't help but get the fear!

Thanks, aw it's just so difficult. I wish I had a magnifying glass to look and see if everything was ok! Hope you're managing ok through everything

@Laura1709 if it will ease your anxiety, get an hcg blood test. You'll need two to see if your numbers are doubling.

Tons of advice out there that says to stop testing once you have found out you're pregnant xx

I'm not pregnant right now but I've had two and I had an MMC so I can remember the anxiety of being pregnant in those early days especially when you've got no outward signs of being pregnant and can't feel them moving etc. honestly try and preserve your mental health and stop testing. Testing won't give you any comfort either way (remember you would still test positive even if something was going wrong which I'm sure it's not!) so just try to stop. I spent a small fortune on early private scans with mine which did help my anxiety a bit...other than that lots of journaling and keeping busy might help. Xx

I’ve seen many clear blue tests look like that and all has been fine! I think it’s just the test.

I'm also 5+2! And did the exact same test this morning and it came up straight away but when I looked at it a bit late the basically gone! I then did a digital which is stilll showing 2-3 weeks but I don't think it ever got further than that with my daughter and she's now 2. think I'm going to stop testing because it brings nothing but worry 😞

I've booked a viability scan for 6+5 so hoping all will be ok at that and hopefully get some reassurance. Pregnancy after experiencing a MMC is very scary. Sending lots of luck xx

Sorry to jump on you post I’m new to mums net. Congratulations on you bfp. Please help me. When I got pregnant with my first son now aged 13 I didn’t get a positive pregnancy test with him till I was 14weeks 5day it was a very faint positive. Second son unplanned pregnancy he is 3 years. I got a positive 2weeks after my period was due with good dark lines. I’m due today things didn’t feel right so took a test late this afternoon I didn’t hold my wee for this. It looked like this in less than a minute. Do you think it’s a positive. If it is it really is unplanned. I can’t bring myself to ask anyone I know.

@mummy2bo no problem at all. If the line came up in the time limit of the test, I'd say it is positive. If it was after, it could well be an evaporation line?

It came up in less than a minute. Had a stronger one this morning on a clear blue again less than a minute. I just don’t really feel pregnant.
