So tired, 21 weeks!

The vomiting has finally stopped and nausea during the day. However I'm still tired.

I've had my blood checked recently and all ok.

I've had a suspected pulmonary embolism, which they said was low risk, but im having medication.

Im currently of work sick until the end of the week.

I however don't know what to do. I can't concentrate at work but I'm so bored as I don't have many friends beyond drinking.

Today I was driving and had to pull in as I was so tired - this was a few minutes after starting to drive.

Is it normally to still be this tired? I don't know who to call. I'm not seeing my midwife until 5 more weeks and GP receptionists can be hard work.

I was absolutely shattered and I had gestational diabetes, not saying it's that but always worth keeping in mind. Do you have any risk factors ?

I won't find out this early. Baby is learning big in the scan. I'm big as well.

Also 21 weeks here and knackered but it’s hard to tell what’s normal. If it doesn’t feel ‘right’ then maybe give your midwife a call. For me it comes and goes, I have energy in the morning but come 7 or 8pm I’m done for.

I've called the midwife team. They say it's normal. Don't see other midwife for five or so weeks.

Same for me. I felt especially tired after meals, needed to lie down.

You could buy some urine dip sticks to see if sugar in your urine, as that's a gestational diabetes indicator too. I'd push for a glucose tolerance test if anaemia has been ruled out already. Some women are diagnosed in the first trimester, so they can test you.

The strips are coming up negative and due to my bmi I'll be getting the test at week 26 or something
