Preg Test control line v faint (4w5d pregnant!)

I’m currently 18DPO and 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant ☺️ I had severe cramping last night in the middle of the night, hot shaky sweat, a bit sick, no blood. I decided to do another test today (despite it being too early to see if HCG had gone down), and the FRER control line is much lighter than the test line. Any idea why? I’ve checked and both tests are in date. Here is an Easy@Home for comparison. Thanks!

It is? As in there is only so much dye to go around and hcg is so strong so the test line has taken the majority? Ooooh. 😄

Sorry. Obviously you can't possibly know yet if you're having twins.

Not a clue. I've informed my GP who seemed less than interested. They told me that they weren't going to do anything and I should self refer to my local hospital. I've filled out the form and waiting to hear back. This is our 2nd month TTC and our first baby 🤞

Yes, sorry just changed my username as realised google indexes posts on here and we haven't told anyone yet!!

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I told the GP last week that I've had a positive test, asked for a blood hcg test to confirm and they said no, they only do that for suspected ectopic pregnancies and to self refer as pregnant to the local hospital.
