9 weeks now, thought I'd turned a corner but my god I feel like absolute shite again today.
I just can't be bothered to do anything !
I feel so sick aswell.
When can I expect to start feeling better ?
This is my third so I should know but honestly I don't remember feeling this horrific with the others.
There is some washing up in the bowl I've been meaning to do for HOURS 😩😩

And to top it off, I've got two birthday parties Saturday - I don't know how I'm going to do it !

hang in there! I felt loads better by 11/12 weeks. You're through the bulk of it but I know it feels endless! Can you skip any of the birthday parties and rest?

Oh my gosh I am with you

I’m 8 weeks and i feel like such a useless blob. I can’t be bothered with anything, I’m so tired and nauseous.

this is my second pregnancy and I had hyperemesis with my first, which I do not have this time. At least with hyperemesis it was abundantly clear I was in no shape to do anything useful - this time I’m really struggling with guilt that I should be able to do more/anything.

roll on second trimester

11 weeks here and currently lying on sofa watching tv with 2yo, feeling dizzy, sick, and exhausted 🥱 can’t wait to start feeling better

Lasted until 18-20 weeks for me. Both times. So awful. But the end result is so worth it, I am considering having a third!

worldsworsthangover · 20/07/2023 15:04

Selfishly glad it's not just me feeling this way. Sorry you're all feeling shit too !
It is so much like a hangover... I don't drink usually either so it feels just urgh 🤢

I wish I could skip the parties but not happening, I have a 9 month old to take with me too 😩😩

1st one I didn’t have any symptoms- sickness or anything
2nd made up for it as I was still being sick the day before my c section 🤪

Paintandpots · 20/07/2023 15:38

Just skip the parties but send a gift and an apology, surely they would understand?
Or maybe don't stay too long at the parties?

Don't worry about dishes and housework, just get through this stage in one piece.
