Food tastes like perfume/soap?

I ate a soup which tasted like perfume or soap and I've just had some prawn cocktail crisps and so do they.. is this normal? 🤮

Everything tasted horrible when I was pregnant. First pregnancy I could still eat chocolate but the second even that was ruined.

Is it possible you had covid recently? I experienced this post covid, but not in pregnancy. Change of taste might happen, but probably not as radical as yours.
