Hiya

With my son it started around week 7 and by week 14/15 it was just mild in the evenings.

It was never unbearable though!

Currently 10w pregnant and the nausea/sickness is absolutely horrific. I wake up feeling sick and to to bed feeling sick and I'm sick atleast once a day. Really hoping it goes in the second trimester!

Goes to show how every pregnancy is different.

For my DD started at 6weeks on the dot and was v bad nauseous all day and all night. Started to get a little better from 14 weeks and by 16/17 I could stop taking all my anti sickness

Currently 4+3 and very nervous about how I will feel in a couple of weeks!

0021andabit · 20/07/2023 10:16

It started around 6-7wks. In my second & third pregnancy it was how I knew I was expecting. In my first pregnancy I felt better around 12wks, my third more like 16wks. Do speak to your midwife if you’re really struggling with the sickness, there’s medication that can help.

Hazelnuttella · 20/07/2023 10:20

1st baby 8 - 14 weeks
2nd baby 8-12 weeks
Only sick twice each time, but constant nausea.

I’m making assumptions here, but from the happy face I’m guessing you haven’t started feeling sick yet and are wondering when it’s going to happen? Lots of women don’t feel sick at all so don’t worry if you’re not feeling sick.

MaryJean87 · 20/07/2023 10:21

About 6 weeks, stopped about 12 weeks. Then after that I'd get the odd wave of nausea and smell that set me off but not as frequent.

kernowpicklepie · 20/07/2023 10:23

1st - started around 6 weeks and lasted until week 14. More nausea than actual sickness.

2nd - started around week 10 and ended around week 16.
I was breastfeeding DD when I fell pregnant with DS so not sure if that delayed my nausea. Fell pregnant when DD was 10 months and she stopped around 12 months.

LG93 · 20/07/2023 10:36

I had hyperemesis so for DD1 it started at about 6 weeks and carried on until I delivered, although it's peak was probably around the 7-13weeks period.

DS2 it started at 5 weeks and peaked around 7-17 weeks but was much worse than the first time, with regular hospital admissions and several months signed off then phased return!

Sh4rkAttack · 20/07/2023 10:52

First indication I was pregnant was a wave of nausea when I smelt a friend's coffee. About 4 weeks (didn't test positive until a day or so later)... but it never developed much beyond that - I remember certain aisles in the supermarket making me a bit queasy for a while. Can't remember when it stopped, probably because it never really started.

SweetAndSourChick3n · 20/07/2023 11:19

Started at around 5 weeks, stopped at around 11 weeks

Astronaut1298 · 20/07/2023 12:35

It started around 7 weeks for me, then got very bad between 8 and 11 weeks. After that i'd have more good days then bad, and I think it fully disappeared around 15 weeks. 21 weeks now and only get nausea if I don't eat on time

pinkpirlie · 20/07/2023 23:00

6 weeks until 22 weeks for me.

Mmmmpavlova · 20/07/2023 23:09

From 6 weeks until delivery. It started very suddenly and I vomited LOTS early on (week 6 to week 22ish), even while on medication, but towards the end only vomited a few times a week. God it was tough though. Pre-pregnancy I used to have a fear of vomiting in general - I had to get over that. I hope the next one wont be so bad...

unclestripe · 20/07/2023 23:14

5 weeks to 19 weeks, absolutely nothing with my first but with my second I was sick at least 7 times a day for the first few weeks, medication helped a bit but I was still constantly nauseous

Blue2020 · 21/07/2023 04:11

7-14weeks I think, I didn’t note when it started but I remember exactly when it ended.

Mangotango39 · 21/07/2023 06:16

Not sure if you are looking for this type of answer but currently week 10 and have not been sick yet.

v mild nausea when I'm hungry but I eat and it goes away so very easily manageable.

sommeliermama · 21/07/2023 11:26

From 7 until 14 weeks but was just on and off nausea and a bit of dizziness. Thankfully wasn't sick once

Robinbuildsbears · 21/07/2023 11:41

Both times started around 5 weeks, stopped several hours after the births.

Bowlplatesoupandroll · 21/07/2023 11:44

With dc1 it was from 6 weeks all day (and night in first and third trimester) till I gave birth. It was honestly like aa switch.
Dt started at 5 weeks but very similar just worse.
