Hey, I've just done a CB test which says 2-3 weeks but my calender makes it 4 weeks 5 days.

My last pregnancy was in 2015, I feel like I'm out of practice.

What are the latest guidelines? Has much changed?

Also, if you have had 4 children how did you body cope? Did you show sooner?

I feel out of sorts today.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think this is right, mine said 2-3 weeks at 5 weeks and went to 3+ at 6 weeks. My friend didn’t get a 3+ until she was 8 weeks! I wouldn’t go off the accuracy of the week indicators anyway, some people never get a 3+

Hi! I can’t be much help with your questions but just wanted to say hello cos I’m in the same boat. Just got my BFP today with baby no4. Totally unplanned and a huge shock. My last baby was also 2015 so feeling very strange about being pregnant again after I’d thought our baby making days were over!
how are you feeling?

Mummapenguin20 · 19/07/2023 17:26

Mummapenguin20 · 19/07/2023 17:49

There was only one heartbeat at 6 weeks so I hope not lol xx

@BBno4 The CB tests count from conception, but your pregnancy is dated by the NHS from the first day of your late period. So CB saying 2-3 weeks means your hormone levels suggest you're 4-5 weeks. Try not to read too much into it, it's not a perfect art. Most importantly you're pregnant. Congratulations.

The weeks test is from conception so you add two weeks on to it, so it would be 4-5 weeks pregnant. Not a huge amount has changed, main one I noticed was vitamin D is recommended throughout pregnancy.

@Mummapenguin20 i was like that with my second from 4 weeks, the bloating at the start makes it so hard to keep it secret from everyone. My midwife thought I was much further along at my booking appointment.

It’s a nightmare 🙈 x

BBno4 · 19/07/2023 19:24

No way are you 8 weeks!
Omg. I was hoping to hide my pregnancy for a bit.
I'm still in denial a bit right now.

Are there any new guidelines? New things we can't do since 2015.
