Hey,

Might be overthinking. Hubby hurt his back at work, has taken ibubrofen last 2 days. Ttc last few days and ovulating around now. Could this affect his sperm negatively? Or would that only be for chronic use..Anyone get bfp the month they or their spouse was on painkillers?

Tia.

You need to contact your fertility doc or Google it.

Ibuprofen won’t cause problems, don’t worry

PerfectYear321 · 19/07/2023 04:22

Naproxen can stop ovulation. I think ibuprofen is ok

If taken at high doses for a long period it can reduce testerone production but in this scenario it won't make any difference. Hoping you get your bfp soon x
