Possible miscarriage?

Hi, so I had my first positive test 4th July all has been going well, tests have progressed and gone darker, no pain, bleeding etc until yesterday that is. We had sex around 3pm and then 3 hours later I had a slight bit of cramping and a bit of pink blood, after I wiped this went away. Then another 2 hours after I had a blob of brown coloured mucus discharge, then I had nothing all night.

this morning I had a little bit of red/pink blood then again once I had wiped it went. I’ve had a pad on since and there’s no blood on the pad and it is only every now and then when I wipe I have a tiny bit of pink coloured mucus discharge. I have had some mild cramping here and there but nothing major.

the other concern I have is my tests have now started going lighter.

I’m obviously thinking this is a miscarriage and the reason my tests are going lighter is hcg dropping. I’ve spoke to the early pregnancy unit and they are going to scan me but can’t do anything until Thursday, so 3 more days of waiting.

I suppose I’m just seeing if anybody has experienced anything like this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy/baby or if it is indeed likely to be a miscarriage (which I’m expecting)

This is the spotting/blood I have had. Only this bit.

I have been experiencing spotting since implantation. Had a healthy scan at 7 weeks and have another tomorrow 9 + 3 and still spotting lightly some days . My drs don't really seem worried at all though and lots have told me it's norm! Pink I believe it's suppose to be more cervix sensitivity I have read which gives me hope.
Iv had about one brown bit like yours 2 weeks ago and hcg still rose afterwards and again 48 hours later.

Bleeding can be nothing but could also be major. You can only know by the scan or blood tests to see if hcg is rising. My mum bled for 18 weeks with me, so much so the doctors dismissed her pregnancy as they'd assumed she miscarried (27 years ago) they never bothered to scan and check. Anyways I'm fine! So blood isn't guaranteed a bad thing but always good to get it checked. With my miscarriage I had almost contraction like cramping very low in my belly and in my lower back and then the blood came as a time of relief from the pain and continue.
I believe pee strip test can only detect up to a certain amount of hcg before they become void as they can't handle the higher levels of hcg. Hopefully that's the stage you're at!

Going from period dates I’ll be roughly 5-6 weeks. I’m trying so hard to stay positive but I’m just expecting the worse.

Sorry to give you a story of bad experience but think it’s also important to be honest.
I found out I was experiencing a blighted ovum (gestational sac was growing but no embryo) at a private scan where I am supposed to be 9 weeks.
At 7 weeks, I had one instance of pink discharge when wiping.
The day of my scan, I had again, pink (more mucus) when wiping and nothing else.
Since the news, I’ve had episodes of pink, brown and last night bright red, not all of the time but when I sit on the toilet for longer. I know my pregnancy isn’t viable so will miscarriage probably imminently. I also no longer feel sick, which means my HCG levels are decreasing. I hope this isn’t the case for you but your symptoms sound very similar, good luck x

No I appreciate the honesty, I know I’m miscarrying or i’m about too, my pregnancy test has gone lighter and I’m having more cramps and pink discharge which looks as if it’s turning more red if that makes sense x

My tests from Thursday last week, and today.

Hcg seems to have dropped. I'm sorry to give you a negative experience also. But I had this, no spotting but the hcg levels dropped on my tests a few days before my miscarriage.
I will keep my fingers crossed for you, but I would prepare for the worst. ❤️

So sorry I didn't read this before my first post! I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. It really is a dreadful thing to have to go through.

Don’t apologise it’s fine🤍 Life really is tough at times, kind of feel like I’m getting used to loss😪I gave birth at 23 weeks in March and my little boy passed away at an hour old, I had a chemical pregnancy just before I got pregnant with him, now this.
