Considering booking a reassurance scan, just wondering your experiences and if you booked a scan without package for pics ect were these offered for an additional fee still or no mention?
many thanks

I booked my reassurance scan with a private company near to my house. It cost £50 and we got 20 minutes in the room, measurements and a estimated due date. We also got 2 printed pictures and got 3 pictures and a video sent to my phone.

I got one to make sure it wasn't ectopic and wasn't an empty sack. Window To The Womb.
I just treated it as fact finding - everything was ok. I don't think it's a real heart beat either from what I've read.

Mine was very similar. I realise it's only a snapshot of that moment (literally!) but it definitely removed a lot of my anxiety.

I got one at 7 weeks and 2 days and it was £60 I think. Was worth it and close to my house also. She told me I was 6 weeks and 2 days I was worried. But then when I had my 12 week scan the dates went back to what I had originally thought. We saw the heartbeat too.

Expecting similar just want to put my anxiety to rest while awaiting my next nhs scan as I seem to have lost most symptoms which is normal but always worries us! Grin
