Pregnancy Test

I stupidly opened a pregnancy test. I realised today I’m 48 days since my last period. It said not pregnant (clear blue digital) but it has three lines. I have attached a photo. Any thoughts? I know I really shouldn’t have opened it 😫🤷🏻‍♀️ After eight year secondary infertility I had given up and now I feel really nervous as I was just about to sort out contraception due to age!

How old are you? Is menopause an option?

48 days since a period and a negative test would indicate probably not pregnant.

Possibly I am 40 but my IVF specialist was happy to continued based on the eggs I produce each month. We just decided to stop for other reasons. Fingers crossed it’s just a late period.

Digitals read differently, don’t open them up. If it’s showing not pregnant at 48 days cycle it’s likely not pregnant

Sorry but it’s unlikely you’re pregnant and might just have an irregular period this month. Digital tests don’t work the same as strips so when you open then the lines don’t mean the same thing.

In your situation I’d just go and buy a cheap standard test and test one more time. Just for my own sanity.
