Just that really. In all my apps and online it says you should start feeling better around 12 weeks. I am 12 weeks next week and do not feel like I am getting better.... I'm mentally loosing the will with the nausea and exhaustion! Please tell me it's likely to improve better soon?

13/14 weeks on first, 12 weeks on 2nd x

16 weeks. The nausea left really suddenly and permanently like clouds lifting - it was amazing! Some people may tell you they felt sick for 40 weeks but that is really really rare. Stay strong, it’s awful isn’t it? 😥

greyberry · 16/07/2023 11:51

I'm 19 weeks and still waiting to feel better Sad

starfish4517 · 16/07/2023 11:56

16 weeks when I found myself longing for a morning coffee again! Still remember that day and the feeling of relief

TTCAbroad · 16/07/2023 12:30

Just over 15 weeks for me (so only a few days ago)! Like @BakedBeeeen said, it was sooo sudden. One day I could barely move and the next I was almost back to normal; the best feeling ever.

Hang in there and I hope you feel better sooner rather than later.

Mummyme87 · 16/07/2023 12:31

I can’t remember with previous two children, but currently 14weeks and still pretty rough. The textbooks say 12weeks but it’s very individual

BuffaloCauliflower · 16/07/2023 12:31

With my first, 8 weeks, and had very minimal early symptoms. My second I felt nauseous till about 12/13 weeks?

febmum24 · 16/07/2023 13:01

Thank you for your replies. I'm hopeful it won't last all pregnancy... hopefully just a few more weeks of it left.

@BakedBeeeen it really is awful 😞 i underestimated how hard it would be. I take my hat off to every single woman who goes through this!

13-14 for me, but it was quite sudden. (Sudden enough that I worried something was wrong!)

RoseRows · 16/07/2023 13:20

Around 16 weeks with my first. I’m currently 22 weeks with my second and still waiting…it’s tough but it’s worth it in the end.

JoyApple · 16/07/2023 14:33

Around 14 weeks. I was also mentally waiting for 12 weeks but it didn't happen till 14 weeks.

Littlegoth · 16/07/2023 14:34

Week 38. Baby delivered at 37 weeks.

prayforthecottransfer · 16/07/2023 14:35
  1. Nausea went at 16 weeks.
  2. Nausea went at 20 weeks.
kitty1993 · 16/07/2023 14:37

Week 16 it all suddenly stopped. And then a week later I got covid! But yeh I waited until 12 weeks and was disappointed when I still felt rubbish but it did suddenly get better.

This. Delivered at 39+5. Felt better at 39+5. Genuinely felt better the day after birth than most of the pregnancy. I hate being pregnant. I'd say improved a bit around 17 weeks though

It is worth it x

Emy289 · 16/07/2023 15:36

I would say I started to feel less nauseous after about 14 weeks but felt mostly back to "myself" by about 16 weeks - don't lose hope!

UndercoverCop · 16/07/2023 15:38

I felt fine early doors, few periods of slight dizziness and thirst, but didn't even know I was pregnant until 10.5 weeks.
Then last half I got PGP SPD and gestational diabetes, so in a lot of pain , stabbing myself with needles and not allowed to eat anything nice, then my waters broke 6 weeks early. I don't think there's a set time frame for when you feel good or otherwise in a pregnancy.

ES1986 · 16/07/2023 16:48

Week 13-14 I felt significantly better. 25 weeks now though and still have the odd feeling of nausea, but nothing compared to weeks 8, 9 and 10 when I was essentially living off crumpets and hash browns 😫😆

PaintedEgg · 16/07/2023 17:41

never, i just started feeling a different kind of "ill / sick / bad" 😭

28 weeks now
