So I am pregnant with my 3rd baby. I currently have 2 lovely boys. I never done the gender blood test with them but my friend done it with her second and it was right and said I should try it. So I done it at home and dropped the unopened test tube on the carpet in our bedroom I share with my husband 🙈 I wiped it down but just done it anyway it came back another boy could this have contaminated it ? I don’t know how easily it’s contaminated. Just out of curiosity has anyone ever had a wrong result doing it at home? I know mostly it’s just for a bit of fun but I feel so silly dropping it 😂

It’s quite unreliable done at home as it can be easily contaminated. You need to have it done at a clinic really

@PickledScrump thanks for they reply, I did look into a clinic but there was none near me unfortunately not even driving distance. Guess I’ll just need to wait and see!

Yeah I don’t trust the home ones, way too susceptible to contamination. I went for the clinical one, but luckily there’s a place really near me that does it.
