MAP failure - in a panic

Posted this in Conception as well but then thought maybe better here...Had unprotected sex with dh the other week - first time we have 'done it' for ages - took MAP within 48hrs and have just done CB digital test which says I am pregnant (period due tomorrow). Don't know what to do, we have 3 already and i was due to go back to work in Sept, dh really does not want a 4th although we have always said we would go with it if it happened. I just feel so unlucky - although a bit excited too if I am honest - it just wrecks all our plans. And tbh I am not the best most patient mummy in the world and was really looking fwd to work again. Any chance CB is wrong? Feel in a total mess, have to be normal for other kids, dh working v hard/late this week so don't know when to tell him etc. OH God...

sit down, write down all the pro's and con's so you can talk to dh when you have got your head round it. congrats for you as i can you're a little please but it's a shock for you. life's a funny thing and i'm sure it's happened for a reason, go with the flo and you might just find you're all ok! hugs (((())))

you can go back to work after or even beofre baby, its not the end of that.

I don't think CB digi is wrong....

I would tell DH asap; you are gong to need some support and its only fair to him. Are your others very young?

He already sounds like he will support you in having the baby, i know you must be very shocked/surprised/overwhelmed. Hope you are ok.

Thanks for such lovely replies....my others aren't that young, only one is preschool but I have put lots of effort into retraining since youngest was born and all geared up for work again. Also we are pretty skint at presnet and have been saying well, soon childcare costs will be less, we can do work on house etc. I'm not sure I can afford to work with 4! Yes dh will support but he is so not keen. Funny thing is, at teh time i thought - I could be preg - and that's why i got MAP. But still kept thinking it, so I suppose deep down maybe i sort of suspected...It is just so NOT ME to be so disorganised. And as luck would have it have been drinkign like fish ever since
