Hello all, just recently discovered that I am pregnant with my second. My first symptom was diarrhoea and extreme cramping. I kept a diary my first pregnancy and although not all pregnancies are the same I never had cramping this horrendous. I rang my GP as I miscarried a few months ago but I had no symptoms then and started bleeding. The female GP was very dismissive and laughed telling me it was going to be a long road if I was already calling about pains and twinges. I explained they were unbearable and were leaving me breathless and hunching over in pain, she told me to take two paracetamols and rest it off. I’m not even going to get in to how she’s in the wrong occupation with her lack of empathy, but did anyone experience similar symptoms and was there anything you took to help or relieve it? I am struggling to even get up, I’ll take a bite of food and I am in agony half an hour later. I am drinking plenty of water, eating toast and crackers but nothing seems to help not even 2 paracetamols.

Is the pain on one side or all across?
Do you have any other symptoms that could possibly match an ectopic pregnancy? that would be my main worry.

I'm 6 weeks today and have had cramping and a massive bleed yesterday. If it's any reassurance I had a scan today and baby is ok.
