TMI PICTURE INCLUDED!

Hi so yesterday morning I went to the loo and on wiping saw a clear discharge with pink in it. I phoned the ward and they said could be normal just to keep an eye on it/any other symptoms let them know etc. well this carried on throughout the day but getting less and less and then it stopped.
well it happened again this morning (this is what the picture is from) im now having less discharge and not much pink/blood in it. I phoned the ward again to ask how long I should be keeping an eye on it and they mentioned it could be my mucous plug (they haven’t seen the picture they just went off my description) they again said to keep an eye but if I get any contraction/bleeding or pain to phone again.

when I had my son I didn’t see the mucous plug so I have no idea if this is what I could be? I was hoping it was some cervical irritation but now they have said the plug I am scared I’m going to go in to Labour soon. Babies movements seem normal but I have an anterior placenta so was just getting used to feeling movement and baby has no set rhythm I can feel yet 🤦‍♀️ any and all advice welcome although please don’t be too scary as I’m very anxious now.

thank you!

I wouldn't say that's your plug it's mine was literally like a massive slimey clump of discharge with much darker blood streeks. Can you send them a pic? X

Thank you, I didn’t think there was enough of it to be the mucous plug but had heard it can come out in bits. I will see if they want to look at the picture. Thank you again

That just looks like discharge. My plug looked like some kind of sea creature.

Thank you , That did make me laugh @toomanyleggings
just trying to figure out if it is discharge, why there is blood in it 🤦‍♀️

Bits of blood is not uncommon. I had all types of bleeding with my pregnancies. Just keep an eye and go in if it gets worse or there’s a smell

Thank you @toomanyleggings i will keep an eye on it and get checked should I feel the need to.
