No pregnancy symptoms at 5weeks?

Hi ladies! I’m currently 5w2d with my first pregnancy after TTC for 12months! I just wanted to ask if other have experienced mild/no pregnancy symptoms at this point

Other than feeling ever so slightly more tired and a bit more hungry than normal I have no other signs- no nausea or heightened smell, I wouldn’t say I’m overly fatigued either

Is this normal at this stage? What are your experiences?

This is still early. Give it a few more weeks and savour the no symptoms while it lasts

AperolWhore · 13/07/2023 14:34

I didn’t get any until I was 7 weeks, nausea 24/7 until 13 weeks then no further symptoms except the growing bump of course.

loverrr · 13/07/2023 15:40

I didn't really have any symptoms at any point in pregnancy (apart from big bump) so dont worry- every woman & baby totally different!

Lottie917 · 13/07/2023 17:02

I was waking up feeling a little nauseous at 5 weeks but I think that was more psychological tbh. Currently 8+2 and it's really started to kick in now (morning sickness, sore boobs, nauseous most of the day, crazy food aversions). Every pregnancy is different though so if you dont have symptoms, or have some things and not others don't panic.

Hi @Turquoisedream yay! Congratulations xx
i didn't have any symptoms at 5 weeks, just relax and enjoy your pregnancy xx

Burningthroughthesky · 13/07/2023 17:36

Morning sickness doesn't tend to start until 6 weeks. Or 7 weeks for me, I thought I'd got away with it 🤣

Un7breakable · 13/07/2023 18:12

I was the same. Then the morning sickness kicked in at 6 weeks

Thank you all for the reassurance ❤️ the anxiety before a scan has me over thinking everything

I am 14+2 and have had zero symptoms throughout x

I’m currently 5 weeks with my second and no symptoms as of yet, a few twinges ( similar to period cramps, this is what I had in my first pregnancy too. ) My symptoms started at around 8 weeks and then I was hit with full blown sickness 😂 my sense of smell wasn’t heightened until after 8 weeks too. Congratulations on your pregnancy! x

I'm currently 9 weeks with my first and I've had no symptoms other than very minor cramps and slightly sore boobs. This thread is so reassuring because I've been feeling so anxious and counting down the next three weeks until my scan so someone can tell me it's real

So happy this thread has been able to give some reassurance!
I know it can be super anxiety inducing not “feeling” pregnant

I’m now a Mama to a beautiful 8 month old girl ❤️
Looking back at my pregnancy I was definitely very lucky to have had hardly any symptoms the whole way through; apart from 1 day of pelvic pain that subsided with painkillers
Towards the end of my pregnancy I just felt heavier and more sluggish

I was very lucky that I could travel throughout my pregnancy and enjoy life before becoming a Mama.

massive help and congrats to you. I didn’t even know private early scans were a thing but I went on Saturday and had the conformation I needed to stop the anxiety. Now I need to just feel very lucky that at 10 weeks I’m symptom free
