I am 15+1 and had a bleed at 11+2 and a small show last thursday. Wasn't much more like a pinky redy mucus.

Last night for absolutly no reason at all lying in bed, i coughed and blood shot out and went everywhere! It was like something out of a horror movie

I asked dp to look what it was and lay there saying "please let me have pissed myself" over and over again lol funny now but not at the time!

I found the heartbeat last night and this morning no problem at all so my concern isnt with the baby as i think s/he is a fighter!

I have a scan tomorrow which i hope will give me answers but what could be causing it???

possibly a low lying placenta?

your scan should be able to spot if that's it.

Hope everything works out OK.

I had this, although i didn't have any bleeding until 32 weeks and it was caused by placenta previa. I know exactly what you mean by the blood shooting out, I had that 4 times and each time I went from no blood loss at all to it literally running out, within seconds, quite scary. When i was told it could cause bleeding i thought, oh it'll be like a period, but it wsn't at all. If it is a low placenta then yes, it should show on your scan tomorrow and they will advise the best course of action.
