Early scan

Hi,

I had an early pregnancy internal ultrasound as I was having some pains. I’m only around 5/6 weeks pregnant but they found the pregnancy and told me that it looked okay. However, they said they have noticed a bleed around the baby, has anyone else been told this before and what’s was the outcome ?. They have asked me to come back in 2 weeks for another scan the Dr said sometimes it can go away but it can lead to miscarriage. Just looking to hear anyone else’s experiences ?

They’re very common, there is a risk of miscarriage but many people go on to have healthy pregnancies. My friend had it at 6 weeks and had 10 days of very heavy bleeding. Her baby is due around now. You may have some bleeding so be prepared for it but it doesn’t necessarily mean bad news.

My friend had this too, had heavy bleeding for a few weeks to the point she thought she was miscarrying but she is currently 21 weeks pregnant! Try not to panic if you see blood. Good luck x

I had this, found at my 7week scan. I didn't bleed at all, and by my 12week scan it had disappeared. I'm now 17weeks with no issues. Again, this is my experience and everyone is different but I've never known anyone personally ally to miscarry from a subchorionic hematoma. Xx

I’ve just been told that I’ve got bleeding in the womb but not the gestational sac and to come back in 2 weeks to see how the pregnancy has developed. I thought I was 6 weeks yesterday but I’m measuring at 5 weeks 3 days. Said I could’ve ovulated later. I’m bleeding heavy and have cramps, similar to a period. Has anyone had this? I’ve had 3 previous miscarriages but I’ve never bleed with any of them.

Hi there everyone my 1st icsi ivf preg ended in miscarriage around 9 weeks then tablet driven mc at 13 weeks in Dec. Then op to remove retained placenta Jan . We were due for an be consultation later this month and found out we are naturally preg . Was over the moon now 5.5 wks I’ve work up this morn bleeding bright red and some brown blood . Not enough to feel a pay but fresh blood when the wipe or pee. Waiting a call from EPU after speaking with 111 an dr . Hoping they call me in for early scan . I’m so scared have right side period like pain a but dizzy ( but felt like that a week)
has anyone had this and it turned out ok ? Xx
