TTC after the depo injection

Hi, I am new to this. So I was on the depo and then the new version of it for just under 2 years and came off it December. So I have been off it for 7 months. Still no period. Anyone got the same the same situation as me or any advice. 36 now, so I really don't want to leave it any later. Can I still have an ovulation cycle and still fall pregnant

It took me ages. Last injection November 2012, so in theory wore off February 2013. First period April 2014 and didn't settle down to anything regular till about November 2014.

Conceived first time January 2015, miscarried, conceived again May 2015 and DC1 born February 2016. Never went back on it and DC2 was conceived on second cycle trying.

GP wasn't interested until I got to a year (i.e. 15 months after last injection) of waiting for a period as it can take that long.

I’m having similar issues. I took my last injection July 2022. A year on and I’ve had one period, 2 weeks later two days of spotting and when my latest period was due it’s next to nothing, more spotting it anything. I’ve no idea when I’m ovulating if it all as tests are always negative. No idea when my cycle will return given I’m a year in. I’m 33 soon so also don’t want to leave much longer. All the online stuff I read is varied. Some Say you can ovulate with no periods, others say ovulation returns months after. Nearly every site says within a year it should be back but im at a year now and it not normal. I’m so confused.

Just want to give you some hope. I was on it for a couple of years and had been on the combined pill then the mini pill for a total of ten years had my last one end of April 2020 so wore of July 2020 had a withdrawal bleed November/ December (lighter but longer than a period) got a period end of January 2021 had unprotected sex throughout February and starting tracking after my period in March and fell pregnant in March 2021 and got my first positive test April 2nd 2021 so just short of a year from last injection to being pregnant
