Hi all, just looking for a little reassurance. I’m between 7-8 weeks pregnant at the moment and I feel like my symptoms are getting less so. To begin with I had strong nausea, needed to wee a lot and sore breasts but now it’s just nausea really. I was physically sick on the weekend but now I’m worried that was just a sickness bug and not even related to the pregnancy. I had a MC in February so I’m really paranoid this will happen again :(

Has anyone else had this with a positive outcome?

Yes.

You'll find your symptoms will come and go throughout your pregnancy. I know it's a worrying time (I also MC) so I sympathise. X

It's totally normal for symptoms to come and go.

I'm 8 weeks today and need to keep reminding myself of this also. Currently still having nausea and being sick, but my boobs are no longer sore really and that extreme fatigue I experienced with my son hasn't kicked in at all yet. I swear by 8 weeks last time I was ready to take a nap at my desk every lunchtime and I was in bed by 8pm every night!

I had 2 losses before I had my son so completely sympathise that it's hard not to let your kind go there. Hang in there OP, you've got this.

Your mind* that should say

I know this feeling too! Symptoms come and go for sure.

Ive had 2 mmc before this pregnancy and each one has been different in terms of symptoms.

its so hard taking each day as it comes - but you can do it - one step at a time

Having a toddler myself and being 36 weeks, somehow you find that inner strength to power through the tiredness 🤣 it will come probably in your last few weeks!

Lottie917 · 11/07/2023 18:42

@justanothermanicmonday1 thanks for the reassurance on that one! 😂 I did wonder as I feel like I've been in a constant state of tiredness anyway for the last 2.5 years! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you, I’m trying so hard not spiral but I’m an over-thinker anyway so it’s a struggle! I had a scan at 5+6 which showed a heartbeat but I’m so worried that the lack of symptoms will be a MMC

@Pringle2223 im the same - I really worry about every twinge or whether they should be more or less! It’s entirely exhausting!

very easy to get into your own head and spiral! I’ve found these forums helpful though - people here seem to get it! X

Pringle2223 · 11/07/2023 19:27

@Kappi it really is exhausting and I feel like I can’t let myself get too excited incase it goes wrong.

Hi! I was wondering how your pregnancy is going? I'm 7+6 and feel like my symptoms are improving.

Emmaev · 29/12/2023 18:27

When I was pregnant with my daughter it wasn’t until the 12 week scan that I was like oh there’s a baby in there. I had some symptoms to begin but they subsided around 7 weeks and I felt like I wasn’t pregnant at all. However I was very pregnant and she’s now a happy 7 year old.
