So I'm 20+2 weeks today with a baby girl and I'm finding that late at night or first thing in the morning when I'm laying on my back in bed I can feel her move so much, it feels so strange, almost like a goldfish swimming around, at first I wasn't sure and I thought maybe it was gas but then I kept seeing my stomach move slightly, I'm finding this so crazy, she'll move for an hour or 2 like crazy non stop then she'll move once or twice an hour after that, but at the moment I can only really feel it on the lower half of my tummy kind of to the right hand side, is it normal to only really feel it on one side? I'm new to all of this and amazed but slightly freaked out by it all 😅

Totally normal still as she’s still quite small. By 28 weeks there will be more pattern to her movements and before you know it there will be movement everywhere

I have the same. I am 20 +1 and feel about 90% of movement on the right side x

I'm 20 weeks and exactly the same! Lots of movement, always on the right. You can see my stomach moving and baby kicks my DH if his hand is there strong enough for him to feel it (baby is close to front, posterior placenta). I'll feel nothing all day then loads for a bit.

At one point I felt a really big flipping movement, didn't feel anything for 2 days. By chance had a scan then which showed was kicking back and down (basically where placenta was), then later that day flipping movement again and could feel movement again 🤷‍♀️
