Labour? False labour?

I’m really not sure what’s happening with my body currently, last night in the shower I started with pains, I’m 37+3 by my scans (but 38+4 by last period)

after getting out the shower the baby moving was causing me pain and I felt her on my cervix and felt my cervix move in my vagina that’s how hard she pushed down.
ever since I’ve been having cramps and back pain, they have got stronger but haven’t regulated, they are getting more often rather than not but again no real pattern to them a couple of times today they disappeared for half hour and then returned.
I had back labour with my first and like that all the pain is in my back just with slight cramps up front. I never felt my contractions/tightenings with my first just the pure pain in my back.
to my knowledge my waters are still intact, I’ve been losing mucuosy discharge for the past week but not any more today than other days, no show, I’ve so much pressure in my bum, and pelvic area, lightening crotch!!!!!! My vagina feels slightly like when you don’t get a tampon in correctly and you can feel it there but not as noticeable as that.

im so worried I’ll go through this and nothing will happen 😩😭 is there anything I can do or any advice of if it sounds like it could be or it’s just not happening?

thanks from the most impatient and anxious person currently going! Someone please get this baby out of me!

Really hard to say, could be the start of something, could just be baby moving into your pelvis more, which does tend to give a lot of pressure low down. Could be tonight, could be days or even weeks yet.

Hello everyone , I am having pain on one side of my back it was too severe came suddenly stayed for 2-3 minutes and kept coming with the gap of 45 minutes. And it came 3-4 times with the gap of 45 minutes. What sort of pain it could be? Called triage they said take paracetamol. I am wondering is it labour pain? Sorry its my first time any help will be highly appreciated. I am 39 weeks pregnant. I have heard labour pain keeps moving from back to front lower abdomen it doesnt stay at one place

@Ayzal hi! I hope you’re well, I see you posted on this two days ago! I personally have had back labour both times so the only place I felt anything was intense on the bottom of my back!
did anything come of this for you?

Hi, no it just stopped . But on and off i feel back pain. I am 39 weeks now. Did your pain started only on one side or both?

Anonymoususer456 · 21/09/2023 18:04

Could’ve been your body getting ready for labour, I got aches and pains everywhere the closer I got to having my baby, I found my pain was more central in my back but I’d get it either side in my pelvis too.

@Anonymoususer456 hi op, I'm currently pregnant with my 4th.

The pain your feeling could be the start of something. Sounds similar to my 3rd pregnancy. As long as you haven't had a show or your waters havent broke I wouldn't worry to much..

Just of curiosity with your last pregnancy how far along was you when you delivered.

My pregnancies don't go past 38 weeks.

Anonymoususer456 · 07/10/2023 20:28

@jadey1991 hi, I was 40+2 with my first and 38+5 with my second both induced.
