Constant nausea and being sick help!

Hi all!

I am 7+1 today and I am nauseous from morning to night, being sick is ramping up to at least once a day.

I am trying to sip water but it’s so hard on my tummy, I think it’s the main culprit of being sick.

Could this be hg? I am actually putting on weight because I am sipping on coke and eating crap little but often.

is it worth calling doc to see if they would prescribe anything as it’s really taking its toll now :(

Call your GP, they will usually start you off on something called Cyclizine. It didn't work for me, but lots of people say it helped.

Punch the first person who mentions Ginger biscuits and tea on the nose. You'll feel heaps better almost immediately !

I didn't have HG thankfully but I did find I got instantly nauseous when hungry. Constantly grazing seemed to help. Tricky to wean myself off two breakfasts after she was born though.....

@Inmydreams88 thank you. Will ring gp tomorrow as i think my levothyroxine needs increased too.

@TreadSoftlyOnMyDreams hahahaha! God any hot drinks, especially tea and coffee 🤢🤢🤢 gone off all meat too. Its bloody awful. I was sick with my lg but cant remember the nausea being this constant. Its awful!

I was constantly sick with three of my pregnancies. It was awful!!

Ginger never seemed to work with me, always too spicy. I found that eating sweet things gave me a huge sugar low after and hour and made me feel sick. Couldn’t eat fruit at the end of the meal because it was too acidic. Not sure if I was the only one. Being hungry would translate to being sick too. Eating too much = sick. Maybe this was why I was sick a lot!

The only thing that helped was that I ate plenty of toast and small snacks, and followed my cravings. This time round it is salty chips and fish, and salmon and potato salad. I have to leave around an hour after food before having a big glass of water, or it makes me too full.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Cyclazine worked wonders for me, OP. Definitely worth a try.
