I’m 18 weeks and requested bloods which showed my ferritin at 29 (range 15-150) but NICE guidelines say anything under 30 should be classed as iron deficiency, midwives don’t seem to understand this and I feel like shit. I’ve been reading that ideally it should be over 100!

My B12 is also on the lower end.

Has anyone found any good iron/b12 tablets suitable for pregnancy? I’m clueless.

Get your blood results reviewed by your GP, midwives can’t prescribe.
