Hi I did a clear blue test this morning with my first urine and it came up positive later on in the afternoon I decided I do a digital clear blue to see how far along I am only for it to come back not pregnant I was confused as I've heard you don't really get false positives due to the lines only working if hcg is detected. I did a further clear blue in the evening and that's come back negative. Has anyone else had this happen

Are you still before your period would be due? I'd say get a pink dye test and test again tomorrow morning or the next with first urine so it's most concentrated. The digital ones can take a bit longer to show, the pink dye ones are clearest x

Thank you. I'm on the implant I only tested because i got the 1 symptom that I only ever get when I'm pregnant which is a very heavy nosebleed. There's been plenty of other symptoms but that's the only one I get when I had my last 3 children

Digitals aren’t as sensitive. So if you’re early or urine is diluted they won’t show. Also clear blue are absolutely awful for showing lines when negative. Get a decent pink dye test like frer or boots own early response.

It def looks positive, but false positives on blue-dye tests are absolutely a thing, and I’d never trust one. Try again with a FR in a day or 2…..hope you get the result you want.

My first 2 kids I used pound shop tests followed by clear blue then my 3rd was a digital clear blue never had any issues with the results but this time around I'm really confused I've done 4 tests 1st one positive 2 digital 1 being not pregnant the 2nd malfunctioned then the last one another clear blue standard test that came back negative

Although there’s a line I wouldn’t say any clearblue was positive because they’re just too unreliable. There’s so many posts lately of women getting lines on cb and then not being pregnant

Oh really I've never had any issues with them before clearly I must have a dodgy one too then. Just have to wait it out for a while
