37 weeks (almost) and my little wriggler is moving loads and making me feel so uncomfortable

Hello,

I‘m 37 weeks tomorrow and my little boy is moving so much! I think it might be my own fault for drinking an icy bottle of mineral water, but still.

He just stuck out his foot really far on my right side, how on earth can it reach that far?! Am I having a baby or a giraffe?! It remains to be seen.

Its uncomfortable and sleeping is such a huge challenge I’m exhausted.

Anyone else in the same boat, what do you do to feel better? Maybe I should try swimming. The idea of feeling weightless seems very appealing and calming right now.

And how does Braxton Hicks feel to you? In the night I get a hard bump, and a red hot poker sensation sticking into the top of my belly. Could that be it?

If anyone is feeling rubbish (the same or worse) please tell me so I don’t feel so alone.

I hope he’s ok and not trying to tell me he’s unhappy or something 🫤

He’s such a little pickle!!!

Thank you xx

Increased movement should be checked out the same as reduced movement, anything outside of the norm really. Feel for you, tough in this heat to get comfy

Thanks @annlee3817 . I’ll reach out to my wid wife now, but he’s always been hugely active so I wouldn’t say his patterns of movement or the frequency have changed. He did another massive kick at 5 am today, this time more central but super high up and I must admit it did hurt a bit.

i just joke that he’s like the Loch Ness Monster because a little bump rises from the surface then glides across my belly before disappearing again.
