Towards end of first trimester and still feel rubbish with no appetite for anything decent. Still need to feed the toddler. What is everyone making atm? I need something healthy and easy that doesn’t make me 🤢

I made an aubergine pasta the other night with pasta, chopped toms, chilli, oregano and wholemeal pasta - so yummy. I'm really craving very savoury flavours. What about traybakes, they're easy and you can eat the bits you fancy and so can toddler - look on BBC Good Food

I make a batch of potato cakes for my 18 month old. Just potatoes (I usually do a mixture of white and sweet potatoes) boiled until tender, add in frozen peas and sweetcorn and a good know of butter or coconut oil, mash and roll into balls. Freeze them on a tray separately, then once frozen, they can all go in a freezer bag together.

I also batch steam veg so there's always a tupperware box of veg in yhe fridge for DD

I just take a couple of potato cakes out of the freezer in the morning to defrost, then heat slightly before serving. I usually serve it with scrambled egg, fish fingers, roast chicken or deli meat and some cheese and a bit of steamed veg.

I also make risotto in the rice cooker (add all the ingredients and put on white rice setting. Put a few portions in small tupperware tubs in the freezer and leave enough in the fridge for 2/3 meals
