So anxious before early scan

Afternoon ladies. I'm 8+4 today, and am having a private early scan this evening, just because I'm really nervous and can't wait until 12 weeks... I'm so nervous. I'm so convinced they're going to tell me there's nothing there or I've had a mmc... I've not had many symptoms, apart from a horrendous allergic reaction to hormones in the past few days (see my most recent thread, not pretty). No sickness or anything.

Can I have a hand hold please? I just so want to see my little passenger's heartbeat this evening. Xx

I think every single person feels that way. It's the relief when you see you've actually got a baby in there and you've not gone mad.

Hope all goes well for you! I have mine next week and feeling the same as I have little to no symptoms but every woman and pregnancy is different! Felt the same with my son and everything was perfect. Really hope you get the relief you are seeking xx

Wishing you all the best OP! I'm 10+4 with hardly any symptoms then week 7 onwards all symptoms had gone. My scan is week after next and wish these weeks would hurry up!

Unfortunately, they couldn't see a heartbeat, and my little passenger was measuring at 6 weeks instead of 8. So it looks like this is a no. Will be getting referred to EPU tomorrow for a re-scan next week, but it's not looking likely 😔

@PlateSpinner23 this also happened to me yesterday :-( I have to have a rescan in 2 weeks but was supposed to be 7 weeks and they said I measured “less than 6” so it’s a waiting game 🙁🙁🙁
