Hi,

I am a few days off 30 weeks pregnant and have started in the past few weeks to have a constant pain in my left side. Originally I thought it was sciatica which I’m used to getting but after going to physio, they believe it to be pelvic girdle pain. I work in an office job and wfh 2 days a week and expected to go into the office 3 days. When I go into the office I rarely do anything differently to what I am capable of doing at home. I wfh all last week to see if it helped which I think it may have. But I came in this week and by the end of Monday I was waddling around like a duck in pain. I can’t always get parked right outside my building and as I hot desk it means carrying around my laptop etc.

do you think it’s acceptable for me to ask to WFH for the foreseeable or atleast have something in writing to say I have the option to do either depending on the pain? Also when does it become too much that people have went on sick? As I just feel exhausted with it atm. i hate it though as I like to just get one with things normally!

I've got PGP and have a work from home reasonable adjustment. I would ask for a fit note from GP with reasonable adjustment of work from home until you finish up for maternity leave ❤️
