Could this be my BFP😩

Long story short me and DH have been trying for baby number two since November I have very very irregular periods my last one being in November and then April. I have recently going for testing for PCOS (blood tests and an ultrasound) which I found out today I don’t have and my ovaries are very healthy but they still can’t explain the irregular periods. I have been take metformin for 7 weeks now to regulate my periods and ovulation and for 5 weeks of that my dose has been 1500mg (3 tablets a day). Yesterday PM I took a clear blue ultra detection test and we thought there was a faint line but didn’t want to trust the clear blue one due to their evap line. Ordered some easy at homes and they arrived today. Look a test about 6:30 this evening with a 3 hour hold and a second line came up with in about 1 minute. It is very faint of course much brighter in person but it definitely has pink. I have never such a dark line with easy at homes (unfortunately in the past I have had a few indents/shadows but never this dark) unfortunately I don’t track ovulation we just DTD and hope for the best. What do we think???😩😩😩

Congratulations. Just be aware the weeks one isn’t as sensitive so don’t panic if it shows not pregnant yet

@PickledScrump i have just done the weeks one and yeah came up next pregnant so will hold out a few more days but my easy at home came back with a line with morning xx

@JSmart13 these tests aren't that sensitive, your line on the initial test was faint so it's still early, you need to give it time. This is why frer is very good, it picks up the smallest amounts of hcg. The best way to assess quantitively is a blood test ❤️

@Gardenlady543 yeah I have read the weeks test is not as sensitive as the early detection digital I’m going to order some FRER today x

@JSmart13 that's a long time to wait ideally you need 2 with them being 2-3 days apart to look for doubling, can you get in any sooner?

@Gardenlady543 phoned back up and got one on Tuesday still 4 days away but better then 8 days

Do you have any ovulation tests op? As they detect pregnancy hormone as well as ovulation hormones and they're a LOT more sensitive! If you know that you're def not ovulating then take an ovulation test and if it's positive then that's pregnancy for certain. I know this from experience as an ovulation test was how I found out I was pregnant!

@AlfietheSchnauzer no I don’t I haven’t tracked ovulation for a while now due to the no periods but I done a clear blue digital last night and got “pregnant” x

That's great that means hcg is going up if it didn't pick it up and now it is.

@Gardenlady543 yes my weeks indicator test yesterday morning was negative and todays one was on second MU too 🥰 sending baby dust to everyone else out there trying to convince

Update: unfortunately this pregnancy resulted in a missed miscarriage. I had a medical miscarriage on the 26th August
