Ovarian cysts in pregnancy

I have had IVF and a fresh transfer and currently 7 weeks pregnant ❤️

I have been experiencing pain, bloating and discomfort and it’s getting to a stage where it’s sore to sit/move/stay in bed. I had gone for an ultrasound and I have a couple of 5cm cysts on each of my ovaries and they have not decreased in size at all in over 2 weeks and my symptoms are getting worse when it comes to pain and discomfort.

The doctor said that it should be okay and eventually go away by itself and some women have 10cm cysts post IVF which is quite reassuring but is still not helping how I feel.

Has anyone been in a similar position and how long did it take for the cysts to come down and what helped your symptoms?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

i had cystic ovaries in my first pregnancy (non IVF). I didn’t know anything about them until one bled and eventually ruptured at 6 weeks.

very painful but not dangerous to me or baby and I was fine again within a couple of weeks. Hopefully yours will follow the same timeline?
