Empty sac at 4 weeks HELP

Hello I went for an early scan yesterday I was supposed to be just over 6 weeks going off the day of my last period. The scan showed 4 weeks just an empty sac. I ovulated 4 weeks ago. Do you think I'm just earlier than we thought or is it going to be bad news? I have another scan tomorrow

Honestly there is just no way of knowing. Was there a reason for the first scan? Was it private or due to bleeding etc? 6 weeks is very early and most places don't always do it at that point.
Are you saying you had that scan yesterday and the next is tomorrow? So only 2 days in between? Prepare yourself that there will likely be no changed. If you are 4 weeks then there isn't much to see, and with only 2 days in between scans it can't really tell you much. Usually they leave at least 1-2 weeks between them so figure out what is going on.

Sissynova I had booked a private reassurance scan as I thought i was 6 weeks and 4 days. But they said that it measured more around 4 weeks and everything looked good but the sac was empty so they referred me to the hospital just to see if they see the same thing and if they do they said they will do bloods to see if my levels are rising

I was scanned at 7 weeks from LMP and they could only see a sac measuring 4-5 weeks. I was scanned again 2 weeks later and saw baby and the heartbeat. They think I probably ovulated later in my cycle

baby had caught up a bit by my 12 week scan and was only measuring about 6 days behind my LMP date.

hope all goes well for you!

I think it's difficult in those really early stages and it could all be fine. I don't think it would be unusual for empty sac even 6 weeks.

hopefully in these next few weeks you are able to see more via hospital scan 🤗
