Miscarriage?

Just looking for other experiences on what to expect. I had some spotting 12 days ago when I thought I was 6+2 pregnant going by ovulation test.
early pregnancy unit carried out a scan and said they could see sac and yolk in the uterus, but measuring 4.5-5 weeks. And too early to see baby. Potentially some shadows looking like baby but booked for follow up scan later in the month as I had family commitments away from home.

12 days I’ve had irregular spotting (not every day and only once a day, not enough to even cover a panty liner), some nausea, no pain. Could it really be that I got a super early pregnancy test? Or can a miscarriage go this long without proper bleeding?

I find other experiences (good or bad) comforting in this stressful world or pregnancy.

thank you

@ConnieAM to answer your question about miscarriage, they can go on and on for weeks. Sometimes your body can take a while to properly recognise it. With regards to measuring and dates ive read a lot of stories of people measuring behind and catching up and it being fine too. Its really hard to tell until u have a follow up scan. Best of luck
