Cramping and bleeding

I started having period like cramps yesterday, and then started spotting/bleeding. The cramping lasted all night, nothing this morning but I am still bleeding. Went to the hospital and they booked me in for a scan Friday, but I just want to know if anyone else had cramping and bleeding, then went on to have healthy pregnancies, or should I prepare for the worst?

How many weeks are you and how much bleeding. I had cramps and a bit of bleeding at 5 weeks and all was fine

try and stay positive I suppose it depends on how much bleeding you are having. Really hope it works out for you,

I was exactly the same stage, to the day, when I had a bleed with my first pregnancy. I had a scan the next day and I think they could see the yolk sac and the foetal pole but no heartbeat. Went back a week later and we saw the heartbeat. It was scary but OK.

I can't promise the same outcome for you, but early bleeds are very normal. Best of luck xx
