Hi all, hoping other people have some advice

Info:

I have had cramps, spotting and vaginal bleeding - like menstrual bleeding and i have passed blood clots as well

I had a scan, they couldn't see anything

Dr said maybe the pain and bleeding is caused by a cyst (corpus leuteum)

I thought that it is a miscarriage, Dr called me today and told me I could still be pregnant?

HCG Levels

Monday - 146
Wednesday - 269
Friday - 376
Saturday - 450
Sunday - 433 (Dr said that most likely miscarriage here)
Tuesday - 900

I am anxious and would like to know if anyone had a similar experience, thanks

Has anyone else had bad cramping a week after miscarriage. Is this normal???
I lost my baby (a very wanted pregnancy)at 11+4 last week. I passed the baby, sac, and placenta at home 8 days ago. Before that I had to go to A&E for excessive bleeding. The bleeding slowed down after I passed the baby and had reduced to light brown spotting a couple of days ago. I thought I had reached the end, but today I passed a small clot and the cramps have been really bad again. I am getting worried about “retained products of conception” potentially still being stuck in the uterus or cervix. The hospital and GP have been absolutely no help since all this started (eg, sent me home when I had excessive bleeding telling me that I would’ve passed all the tissue, and then I passed the baby at home the next morning. They wouldn’t do an u/s either. Between the inaccurate advice medicos have given me since all this started (another example was being told I wouldn’t recognise a baby in the bleeding, which was totally wrong as I clearly saw the baby inside the sac, still attached to the placenta) and the gap in information online, I’m seeking out the experience of real women who have gone through this themselves. Has anyone else experienced cramping a week (or more) after their miscarriage? Google seems to think it’ll all be over in a few days. I don’t find this believable and the doctors have been no help. Surely other women have experienced cramping beyond a few days without it being a sign of another complication? Thank you if anyone out there can attest to having experienced cramps for this long… so worried.

I’m sorry Jackie1221, I think I accidentally posted on the bottom of your message instead of starting a new thread.
I’m sorry for what you are going through!
it sounds like you may need another scan? If they didn’t see anything on the last one?
I hope you get some answers soon!

@Jackie1221 I'm a bit confused by your post - you say the Dr thought you had miscarried on Saturday but you also say the DR thinks you're still pregnant. When did they say these things?

How far gone did you think you were when they scanned you?
