Hello all,

Currently, 39+1 weeks, and CANNOT stop thinking about when I could go into labour. For the past few days, I’ve had increasing pain and pressure in my pelvic area, vagina as I move, and a dull backache. And consistent mild period like pain. It’s more evident when I’m lying down, as I get up, and move around. I haven’t yet had a “show” or anything. Just those symptoms, and starting to feel a bit restless.

Anybody had or has anything similar, and any clue on when to perhaps expect labour? 😅 I understand this is not in our hands, but I can’t get it off my mind! Understandably.

Thank you

This waiting part is the worst! Understandably it’s all you can think about as you say. My advice though would be that you need to accept that you might be nearly 3 weeks off yet and come to peace that it will happen when it happens. Two of mine were born at almost 42 weeks (night before induction was due). I started thinking about labour at 37 weeks so I was pretty hacked off by then! Wishing you all the best for your upcoming arrival.
