Just wanting people's success/or any kind of story about an ECV/ELCS?

3rd baby, high risk because of GDM on insulin. She's always been breech. Growth scan today at 32wks. I know I've got 4 more weeks for her to flip but she's never once moved round any other way.

Can't decide what I'm going to do in 4 weeks time when they ask. I didn't want a C section - not because I'm against them - just don't want long recovery and unable to drive etc with a 3.5yo and a 2yo.

Help?

Second and third babies have more space and like to keep you on your toes. I had a scan at 32 weeks and baby girl was breech. I did a lot of cleaning on my hands and knees to get her to shift (skirting boards have never been so clean!)

It did work for me - just need her to decide to be born and not smoked out

Hi OP! There is still lots of time for baby to turn, but you could try the exercises here: https://www.spinningbabies.com/pregnancy-birth/baby-position/breech/flip-a-breech/

This website was recommended by my midwife, but my baby was in a transverse lie and wouldn’t be moved. Eventually had a session of acupuncture and he moved head down that evening.

I did end up with an EMCS for different reasons, and the first week was rough recovery wise, then it did get better quite quickly. But the not being able to drive was a huge pain. My insurance company when I spoke to them said it wasn’t about waiting 6 weeks, it was that I could drive when I felt I could safely do an emergency stop, which took a little bit longer, I think around 7ish weeks.

Not quite the same situation but my baby was breech on every scan, until finally turning head down at 32 weeks. I practiced spinning babies almost every day from 28 weeks and sat on an exercise ball and also walked as much as possible. I was also considering moxibustion by 33/34 weeks if baby didn't flip by then. It seems to have a high success rate. Spinning babies website would say breech may not be a problem until 32-34 weeks but you should start getting serious about various movements and inversions to encourage baby as much as possible. I think you have plenty of time for baby to flip and and there's lots you can do to encourage baby too. Best of luck! I

Thanks all!

Due to the GDM they will induce at 38 weeks anyway so it's not a case of wait and see unfortunately but I am definitely going to try those positions!
