I didn't feel proper kicks till after 24 weeks xx, just felt weird flutters and slight moving too

Yeah, I’m 23 weeks and it feels more like the baby is having a good fidget rather than kicking 😄

I’m 32+ weeks and I just get lurches, like they’re shifting their weight.

I go through days, even most of the week sometimes where movements are less kick like and more just movements, or even kicking internally (which just feels like big thumps). All to do with whichever way they are facing, you won't feel kicks on your tummy unless they are facing the front and kicking that way! 😊

Their little legs and arms are still so small at 23w, they don't have enough strength to give your thick womb wall a proper kick. More like a little feeble flail at this point.

This is the nice movement so enjoy it...when they do proper kicks (ime) it's not enjoyable, it actually hurts. And my dd waited till I settled down for bed before getting going so I couldn't sleep. She started kicking in the same place each time so it felt like I was getting bruised.

Now she climbs into our bed at night and continues kicking me in her sleep lol. She loves football so there we are! She had early kicking practice!
